  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1-2 tablespoons ground roasted sesame seeds see note below

Instructions

  • Remove the block of tofu from the container and drain the liquid. Place the tofu in a bowl.
  • Massage/squish tofu around 6 times, breaking up the tofu into large chunks.
  • Add the sesame oil, and massage about 6 times.
  • Then add the soy sauce, and massage another 6 times.
  • Sprinkle the ground roasted sesame seeds on top. Give it a quick mix. And then it's ready to eat! Best slightly chilled ^_^

Notes

Note: recipe calls for ground roasted sesame seeds. When you buy roasted sesame seeds at the supermarket they are always whole seeds.
You can grind whole seeds with a suribachi or a sesame seed grinder. You can also use a mini food processor.
Note: If you prefer not to grind the roasted sesame seeds or don't have time, just use the whole roasted sesame seeds. As a sesame lover, whole sesame seeds are better than no sesame seeds heheh ^_^
